Yiy (Xiaoyue) Zhang

Yiy Zhang was born in Shaanxi of China in the year 1990. Currently she lives and works in Beijing China and Düsseldorf Germany. She received her education from the  Central Academy of Fine Arts of Beijing, then  the Ecole nationale superieure des beaux-arts in Paris, the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München under Prof. Gregor Schneider in München,Germany and Düsseldorf Kunst Akademie, Düsseldorf under Prof. Gregor Schneider in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Some of the notable exhibitions that she has been a part of arePostPOST Final, Düsseldorf, Germany; Zimmer Frei, München, Germany; ARTMUC, München, Germany; ABC Art Book in China; Nanjing, NUA Museum, Nanjing, China;  11Stunden,Düsseldorf,Germany and Syntony, Paris, France. She has also been part of the residency programs Stone House Artist in Residence in Zhejiang of China and Artist in Residence in Chongwu, Fujian, China.
