Tahmina Hafiz Lisa, born in 1979, is a Dhaka-based artist who undertook her academic education from the Department of Drawing and Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in 2005 and Master’s Degree in 2008 respectively.

She has been part of numerous art exhibitions, both in India and Bangladesh; Dhanbad Art Fair in 2019, Mezzot’India 2018 in Siwan of Bihar, and The Fist Arthshil International Artists’ Symposium of India in 2018 are noteworthy of them.

Concept:

To me, performance is a specialized medium through which I can express my thoughts through my body and its expressions. It allows me to use my body as a medium when I feel the need to collaborate with the audiences present in the space and time.
