Jiaojiao Li

China

Jiaojiao Li, born in 1994, received her education from the Department of Fine Arts of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. She has exhibited her works in solo exhibitions such as the Open Studio at Yi art space of Hefei, China and Exhibition Daily, in Kaizhou Association of China in 2016 and 2017 respectively. She has also been part of group exhibitions such as Soil Project Youth Experimental Art Project XIX in Xu space, Chongging in 2018, Sunny Glass Room in Cuigang Moca in Hefei, China in 2017; and Daily Da at He Gallery, Beijing,China in 2016. She has attended many art festivals such as the Chongqing performance Art Festival and the Cuigang Art Festival.

Work Title: Made in China

The project Made In China was created during my participate Dhaka Live Art Biennale,D’LAB 2019 in Bangladesh . The source of the project come from my observed between local market and local people daily necessities . So I choose to implement my work in the public space ‘local park ’. Tn the park , I went to communicate with everyone present , borrowed anything made in China from them body , and then put the borrowed things that made in China on the ground and arranged in letters about ‘ made in China ‘on the ground.
