Title: Mowing Action V
A political level remains to a large extent, symbolic, and the situation reveals the urgency that a vast potential with its impact of the moving body conquers the presence of communication, to reveal a grammar of body existence in the public eye, questioning the participatory role of artist and viewer. After the 2 hour accompanied mowing action walk from Shahbag area to Curzon Hall area, I finalized my performance in front of a corrugated iron wall. Placing in front, the lawn mower and the green lawn suit, followed by an installation of the fabric bandages containing the text in English and Bangla. Revisiting that same site the next day I could see that lawn mower and the suit were gone however the text was untouched and remained in its place. Language of the world sustains over the material objects and proves that it ignites unknown thought processes.
