Kevin Doyle

Kevin Doyle is a writer and director of interdisciplinary theatre and film working between the European Union and his native New York. He has won several honors in the United States and abroad, including the Thornton Wilder Fellowship at The MacDowell Colony; a USArtists International Award from the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation; a Saari Fellowship at the Kone Foundation (Finland); and as Artist in Residence at The Watermill Center. A graduate of the Drama Studies program at Purchase College (SUNY), he also studied Theatre History & Criticism at Brooklyn College (CUNY). His full-length play examining the history of genocide in the modern era — when after all, it was you and me (or the genocideplay) — was Shortlisted for the 2017 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting at the Royal ExchangeTheatre in Manchester, England. Recent interdisciplinary solo performance work includes: PMURTat the Vooruit Arts Center (2017) and Dixon Place (New York, 2018); KONZUM | CONSUME at KNAP in Zagreb, Croatia (2017); andexcavations at Das Arts inAmsterdam (2016).
