Sanad Kumar Biswas, born in Faridpur (1986), is now a Dhaka-based visual artist. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. His interests lie on the existential scrutiny and his own relevance of transformation on a global scale, analyzing one’s momentary existence changing with the constraints of space and time.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions; noteworthy of them are the 17th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh in 2016, Dhaka Art Summit 2016 as a performance artist, National Art Exhibitions (2009, 2013, 2015) by Shilpakala Academy and many more. He was also part of a three month-long residency program at ‘Studio Sandwich’ in Kyoto, Japan which took place in 2014.
