Graham Martin

Graham Martin isan international artist and curator concerned with the socio-political and the ‘how and why of living’. He has exhibited across the UK and in Germany, Mongolia, Italy, Netherlands and Russia. He is also known as an independent curator, and Director of the Agency – Art, Life & Societyan international curatorial project. His artistic practice embraces action, performance, photography, text and book works, graphics, map making, installation, sculpture, art pharmaceuticals and mixed media. Over recent years actions, performance and photography have assumed increasing importance in my work. He receive his education from Leeds Metropolitan University by completing his PhD in Art and Design.

Some of his mentionable works are The Revolution in our eyes, a performative film created for Kolkata International Performance Art Festival; Hold Everything Dear, a performative action for the audience at Pages International Book Fair; and The Revolution is HealingatGallery 11 of the University of Bradford which was a solo show dealing with common wounds,healing & contemporary loss.

He lives in the UK but his heart and passport is Irish. The latter has various different stamps in it. One of these is Bangladesh!
