Project Brief note:
“Nature moves at its own pace. It has a harmonizing bionetwork of its own and through this progression we will survive. We are always dependent on nature, but we were rushing towards a mechanical civilization. We are supposed to develop our life by fulfilling our needs, not destroying Mother Nature. We are not observing that this mechanical civilization has been leading us to imminent death. Hence, we have distinguished ourselves from nature and prepared ourselves for an evolution.
2020 begins with the terror of death. We do not know what will happen to us in the days ahead. Romantic and faithful yarn to reach the future is under threat. Our way of living, future plan, work plan and social transformation has been turning into a different construction. There is no more conflict in war-racked countries. All-powerful countries are trembling over the new pandemic threat. The possession of death is becoming long in every minute. The nature of the war has turned into diverse mode and we are hostile to an invisible enemy. We are enclosing ourselves, struggling over social and physical distancing and have to be self-centric to survive. Yet the nature rejoicing its exquisiteness, days going on, the sun rising and settling down and we, the human being hoping for a new-beginning ahead.
Although we have to live through many complications in the coming days, we have to move on. It’s time to think in depth about nature and inner self. As an artist, what can we do in this grim time? Are we reflecting on our accountability as a human being? While we are all in this isolation; our aesthetics, way of living, ins and outs may change in the days ahead. What is and will be our expression then? Will we be in the race of that changing? What change we may bring that is biologically applicable?”
So, why is it Bio-Net-Work? This is the unexpected reality we are in. We are experiencing a distressing pandemic in centuries. This seems to be the turnover of our action towards mother nature. We are the most social being yet we have to isolate ourselves to survive. Thus, we (the bio) are using the network (net) to stay connected or do activities (work).
In other ways “Bionetwork” means an ecosystem, which our nature uses to evolve and we destroy it by our own actions for the sake of development. It’s the high time to think and act to start living within that system.
